The leadership of the Lagos East Movement is pleased to formally announce the constitution of its Central Working Committee, a strategic body established to coordinate and drive the implementation of the Movement’s programmes and activities across the district.
The Lagos East Movement is committed to fostering inclusive development, strengthening grassroots political engagement, and promoting initiatives that enhance socio-economic growth across the senatorial district. The Movement also aims to mobilize stakeholders, empower young people, and support policies and leadership that align with the collective aspirations of the people of Lagos East.
This development marks a significant step in strengthening the operational structure of the Movement, as it continues to consolidate efforts towards achieving its core objectives. The newly appointed members of the Central Working Committee are as follows:
- Ambassador Ogunbamwo Ibrahim — Director General
- Adeleke Aroyewun, Esq. — Deputy Director General
- Lekan Akintobi — Director of Programmes
- Ambassador Damilola Obayomi — Director of Secretariat
- Comrade Adelaja Azanat — Director of Finance
- Soyiga Samuel — Director of Media and Publicity
All appointments take immediate effect.
The leadership expresses confidence in the capacity, experience, and commitment of the appointees to effectively deliver on their responsibilities and advance the vision of the Lagos East Movement.
