The Council Leader of the Legislative Arm of Ikorodu West LCDA, Hon. Enitan Jessica Oba, warmly congratulates His Royal Majesty, Oba (Engr.) Basiru Aremu Sotonwa, Sekunmade of Ipakodo Kingdom, on his well-deserved elevation to the prestigious status of a First-Class Monarch in Lagos State.
As a proud daughter of Ipakodo Kingdom, Hon. Jessica Oba described the elevation as a historic and joyous moment for every son and daughter of Ipakodo. She noted that the recognition reflects His Royal Majesty’s exemplary leadership, wisdom, service and commitment to the peace, unity and development of the Kingdom, while also celebrating its rich cultural heritage.
Hon. Jessica Oba commended the Lagos State Government for the honour, describing it as a fitting recognition of the important role of traditional institutions in preserving culture and promoting peace and development. She expressed confidence that the elevation will usher in a new chapter of greater responsibility and progress for Ipakodo Kingdom.
She prayed for continued wisdom, peace, long reign on the throne and divine guidance for His Royal Majesty, while wishing the entire Ipakodo Kingdom, Ikorodu Division and Lagos State greater unity, prosperity and development. “Congratulations, Your Royal Majesty, on this well-deserved elevation to First-Class Monarch!”
