IKORODU, LAGOS – The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Lagos State House of Assembly, Ikorodu Constituency I, Hon. Toyin Gafaar Bolowotan, has commended the Executive Chairmen of Ikorodu Local Government, Ikorodu North LCDA, and Ikorodu West LCDA for what he described as their remarkable performance in their first year in office.
In a goodwill message marking the first anniversary of the council administrations, Bolowotan praised the three local government leaders for demonstrating visionary leadership, delivering people-centered projects, and driving sustainable development across their respective councils.
Speaking on the achievements of Hon. Prince Adedayo Abdul-Lateef Ladega, Executive Chairman of Ikorodu Local Government, Bolowotan applauded his commitment to grassroots engagement and large-scale empowerment initiatives. He noted that the administration has consistently prioritized programmes that improve the lives of residents while investing significantly in educational infrastructure to secure a brighter future for children in the community.
Bolowotan also commended Mayor Ibrahim Ameen Apanisile, Executive Chairman of Ikorodu North LCDA, for his administrative excellence and dedication to delivering the dividends of democracy. According to him, the council has recorded notable progress in infrastructural development, staff welfare, and youth empowerment, contributing meaningfully to the socio-economic growth of Ikorodu North.
He equally celebrated Hon. Sulaiman Kazeem, Executive Chairman of Ikorodu West LCDA, for his inclusive approach to governance and unwavering commitment to grassroots development. Bolowotan highlighted the chairman’s emphasis on educational advancement and youth empowerment, describing his leadership as purposeful, impactful, and people-focused.
Reflecting on the collective achievements of the three council administrations, Bolowotan said the progress recorded within just one year underscores the value of visionary and responsive leadership.
“The progress recorded across Ikorodu Local Government, Ikorodu North LCDA, and Ikorodu West LCDA within just one year gives credence to visionary leadership. These Chairmen have demonstrated that governance is most effective when it prioritizes staff welfare, invests in education, empowers youth, and delivers programmes that resonate with the people. Their efforts are laying a solid foundation for sustainable development in Ikorodu Division,” he said.
Bolowotan further prayed for continued wisdom, strength, and good health for the council chairmen as they continue to lead their respective councils. He expressed confidence that the years ahead would bring even greater accomplishments, improved service delivery, and more developmental milestones for the people of Ikorodu Division.
