The Planning Committee is pleased to announce the second edition of Mentorship Moment with HOA 2.0, a flagship leadership and youth development initiative of the Executive Chairman of Igbogbo/Baiyeku Local Council Development Area (IBLCDA), Ọmọ’ba Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun.
Scheduled to hold on Thursday, 3rd September, 2026, at the Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA Multipurpose Hall, beginning at 10:00 a.m. prompt, this year’s edition is themed “Leading with Purpose: Mentoring the Next Generation of Transformational Leaders.”
Mentorship Moment with HOA was conceived to inspire, equip, and connect young people with accomplished leaders whose experiences, values, and leadership journeys can shape a new generation of ethical, innovative, and service-driven leaders. Building on the success of its maiden edition, the 2026 programme promises to be an impactful gathering of young professionals, students, entrepreneurs, community leaders, and aspiring changemakers.
The event will feature a keynote address by the Deputy Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mojisola Lasbat Meranda, alongside a distinguished panel of accomplished professionals and leaders who will share practical insights on purposeful leadership, mentorship, governance, career development, innovation, and nation-building.
Speaking on the significance of the initiative, the Chairman of the Planning Committee said Mentorship Moment with HOA 2.0 is designed to bridge the gap between established leaders and emerging generations by creating a platform for meaningful engagement, learning, and inspiration.
